What does it mean to be a SmartVestor Pro?

Dave believes only 15% of the financial advisors truly educate their clients about the world of investing. He seeks those advisors who truly put the clients needs over their own, is very good at follow-up and has an established practice. In addition, the Ramsey program seeks those advisors who provide top-notch customer service and regularly evaluates those who use the program to ensure the SmartVestor Pro's are helping clients by adhering to Dave's financial peace principals. 

According to Mr. Ramsey, a good investing professional is going to do more than pick your funds. They are gong to fit your investments into your life, consider tax implications, changes in legislation, and educate you so you'll understand what you're investing in and why. If you're having a bad day and decide to pull all of your investments out, you can ruin the goals you've worked hard to achieve. Since buying high and selling low is a bad plan, a good investing pro will remind you why you're investing and encourage you to stick with your long-term goals.

These goals are very natural for me to adhere to because even before I became a SmartVestor Pro (formerly Ramsey's endorsed local provider) I was building my own business on the same principals. I specialize in providing information and advice on wealth preservation and safety strategies for financial and retirement planning.  I feel very fortunate to have been selected as a SmartVestor Pro.
